Burberry Prorsum Spring 2010 Men's

Say so long last spring’s cardigans and hello to this season’s wild straps. Around this time last year, when Christopher Bailey presented his Spring 2009 collection for Burberry, you and I both were in the in the midsts of what I like to refer to as “Cardigan Heaven”.
A year later and a few collection later, the thing that we will certainly be trying to get a hold of is less than demure and usually associated with bondage. Surprising, no? The collections muted tones and minimalist colors say different.
It may not have been his intention, but the love affair of bondage clothing and straps is seemingly going. Seeing as they bare a slight similarity to seat belts, the strap details that appeared throughout the collection on button ups and regular shirts may have more so took place to represent a man’s need for accessibility today. Mobility, also kept a key factor as seen with the accompanied bags and backpacks.
The number of cardigans seen in this show may lack in comparison to last Springs, but were replaced with quilted jackets and coats in cotton a linen. Sure to Prepare Christopher’s latest costumers for anything mother nature has in store.
