Dsquared² Spring 2010 Men's

Don’t you just love a blunt and in your face themed collection? Surly it does not take much to tell where your heading off to this season with Dean & Dan Caten. If the backpacks, fishing hats, or even the blanket that a half-naked Marlon Texiera took to the runway in weren’t a dead give away, your going camping this season with the brothers that make up fashion’s most playful pair. You know, the brand that does what men do already, but a thousand times better.
Have you’ve ever dreamt of what a camping trip with Garrett Neff and Simon Nessman would be like. Now blow that up thought and transform it into a collection. With a mission to unleashing your in man’s man and good ol’ heart warming country style music in the background, everything seemed right in the world for those few short moments. Until the innocent nature of male bonding and becoming one with nature turned into to a full-fledged drooling sport, of course.
Clearly a fan of layering and the idea of a casual luxury, the return of the tuxedo top to an unconventional bottom was back. Fitting the theme, it was this time paired with shorts that featured leggings underneath. Which now come to think of it, does not make Givenchy’s Spring 2009 idea of doing so, seem all so new anymore.
With a little in here for everyone, whether stealing looks complete from head-to-toe or taking a little here and there to create something new – it will be hard to make these basic necessities go wrong. Oh how I love Dean & Dan.
