Bill Kaulitz Caught In Ann Demeulemeester Fall 2009
Bill Kaulitz, singer and one (large) portion the German band Tokio Hotel. Known not only for his vocals or founding a band with his identical brother, Kaulitz is no stranger to blurring the line between genders. Usually spotted with white-tipped nails and sporting his shrunken wardrobe, you would be lying if you were to say that Bill wasn’t in a category of his own, off to the side.
Arriving to the premiere of the animated flick Arthur and the Minimoys 2, yesterday in Germany, Kaulitz stayed within his comfort zone in black ultra-slim trousers and black accessories to go along with his get-up. Though it was his oversized sweater that came as something new.
Topping of his purple turtleneck with an over sized ribbed knit sweater, Bill drained Ann Demeulemeester’s Fall 2009 collection of all it’s romanticism and inhibition. Instead using the sweater to add some texture to a rather safe (in his realm) look.
Though I can’t say that I am a fan of the look, it is nice to see such a powerful piece by brilliant designer out and off of the runway. How does Bill’s look make you feel?
I don't think Bill's wearing the sweater detracts from it's romanticism in any way. He has the uncanny ability to look good in just about anything he decides to throw on.
I don't know much about this kind of fasion but I think he looks absolutely amazing! He can work anything.
He wears it and he pulls it off, which is more than can be said for a great deal of men who might attempt to wear it.I think the thing about it is that he's wearing it like a part of his outfit, and not the main feature, unlike the model. Bill still makes it work, though.
Personally, I love that he's bringing men's fashion away from the catwalk and it's even better to see that it's actually for men rather than people saying it's a woman's article of clothing! He looks amazing in it and looks so cosy, he's got the best attitude when it comes to buying clothes
and wearing them of course 
by the way to the comment that he WEARS FAKE NAILS – NEGATORI!! No/Nada/Niet/Iie/Non/NEIN -its his natural nail that he puts enamel on – so please – he cuts them then grows it out

It's ok the sweater is not a fav. Although I like the purple on him brings out his eyes.
Id wear it I think its really nice and rather if its for a guy or not I seriously would wear it and im a girl and to me he looks amazing in it also has anyone ever thought that this time of the year Germany is cold and this kept him warm yet fasionable

Bill has an awesome style and he always looks great! The sweater looks better on him than on that model!
I do really like the outfit but yea agree with some others, it would look better if the turtleneck wasn't so bright of a purple, it kinda overshadows the sweater.but overall Bill is extremely fashionable and anything looks good on him.

As unappealing as the sweater looks, Bill makes it look good. He should wear purple more often, too. Its one of his colors.

I love how he took the inspiration of the rope of sweater material, but used a long chain necklace instead. That guy has a great sense of style.
Of Course Bill doesnt have people teling him how to dress!Bill is a very free spirit and he would never allow people telling him how to look. If people really believes that he got ppl doing so, they clearly gave NO CLUE WHAT SO EVER what kind of person Bill Kaulitz is. They have not even tried to understand him. At all.The only person who decides what Bill should wear, is Bill himself.
Bill is so damn beautiful! Sorry, but I can really focuse so much on the clothes when Bill is wearing them. He could wear a chicken costume and still be the sexiest man alive.

i think bill managed to pull this off very well, much better than the model did. the model looks like he's just dressing up for the cold. bill however, looks like he's dressing up FASHIONABLY for the cold.either way, love it or hate it, bill kaulitz never fails to amaze me with his unique sense of style. i love that sweater on him, as well as every other piece of his outfit. thanks for featuring him.
I really do love this sweater on him. I disagree with the statement that he "drained [it] of all it's romanticism and inhibition". Simply because he wore it differently than the runway model did doesn't give such a remark credit in my opinion. I personally love the way the whole ensemble, and the way it came together. It's not me favorite outfit of his, but I still love it.
Needs more shiny.Whether I like and outfit of Bill's or not, he's sure to bring the fierce every time. Can't argue with that.

Bill truly knows how to bring the fashion from the runway, off the runway. His fashion tastes are so unique and so fascinating – it's truly different from others. You always get this excited feeling when you hear the words "Bill Kaultiz" and "Fashion". I love how Bill can make himself seem taller than he already is with the boots and skinny jeans, and make himself look so slim with the fitting turtleneck. The sweater is definitely an interesting choice – though it seems "romantic and subtle" on the model, Bill makes the sweater look completely comfortable and homey, since he is going to the movie premiere. He never seizes to amaze me with his fashion choices, and I'm always excited to see what he'll wear next time. Plus, he is an amazing singer and Tokio Hotel is my absolute favorite band of all time. Can't wait to see Bill and Tokio Hotel again soon!
