Lanvin Fall 2010 Men’s

For Fall 2010 Lucas Ossendrijver teamed up with Lanvin’s womenswear designer, Alber Elbaz, to make a beautiful collection that was all about the line between polished and edgy.

The collection focused on the Lanvin man that wanted to look chic and well put together and still look youthful and edgy. The show was comprised of many suits that were soft and comfortable while still remaining sculptural and edgy. Another staple of the collection were the polished, boiled wool coats, perfect to keep you warm on the chill autumn nights. On the edgy side of the spectrum, the show had some very cool street gear including metallic gold pants, a graphic tee, and a few backpacks.

It seems that when it comes down to it, the collection was a mixture of the personalities of the designers. Alber Elbaz bringing in the soft, Lucas Ossendrijver bringing in the edgy, and both bringing in the luxurious and cool. The combination provided a blockbuster collection that will be in the closets of every fashionable man.
