Bottega Veneta Spring 2011 Men’s

After heading to the 50s with his last menswear collection, for Spring 2011, Tomas Maier brings his latest Bottega Veneta man back to present day, leaving the eccentric hair swoops a thing of the past.

Introducing the, now signature, Bottega Veneta color palette of plumes, greens and deep reds, to naturals and even a patchwork, Maier gives the axe to the cuffed denim styles of Fall 2010, now dressing a man still casual, but instead opting for more freeing fits and comforting fabrics.

Starting off with more delicate colors and then moving towards darker hues, all of which still in delicate and light fabrics, all facets of a man’s life were targeted. From the rainy yet warm days, covered with the showing of a relaxed trench worn over a transparent top, finished off with black sandals, to casual days, strolling the city with a woven leather bag slung across his chest.
