Pringle of Scotland Spring 2011 Men’s

The message at Clare Waight Keller’s Spring 2011 presentation for Pringle of Scotland was a rough around the edges take on the classic and clean wardrobe.

Mostly consisting of neutrals with pops of different shades of blues, ranging from deep blues on the first and last pieces of the collection and a few more pieces sprinkled throughout, to the more brilliant blue shown on the jacket rapped around one models waist to a few knit pieces. Even a subdued light blue used in a couple looks, mostly on the pants.

The neutral part of the collection included a beige button down and trouser combination with a slight military influence among others. From cozy cardigans to the destroyed black and white sweater and even on some transparent pieces, the knit pieces were the standout looks of the collection, and also where the more rugged aspect of the show came in.
