Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2011 Men’s

The beautiful coastlines of the Cinque Terre and the Côte d’Azur were the birth places of Massimiliano Giornetti’s inspiration for his Spring 2011 show at Salvatore Ferragamo.

The collection was perfect for the man spending his summer days in the Mediterranean. It was chock full of breezy separates including luxurious cardigans in creamy tones and a duffle jacket done in terry cloth. There were also Bermuda shorts and loose fitted trousers combined with an array of woven knit pieces, safari shirts, and crossover jackets. The leather Grecian sandals were a great addition to the show. The assortment of looks were done in a palette of neutrals with a few pops of blue that brought to mind the sand and the surf.

The models were dressed to the nines in the label’s signature Italian chic, this time around it was infused with an easy elegance. This 1920s inspired show was all the Riviera spirit one could want for spring 2011 and more.
